Pavago is in search of a meticulous Financial Accountant Analyst to oversee our client’'s financial records and account personnel. This role entails maintaining all procedures and controls related to our financial accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Responsibilities
- Accounting Operations Management:Oversee all accounting operations, including Billing, Accounts Receivable (A/R), Accounts Payable (A/P), General Ledger (GL), Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Budgeting and Financial Forecasting:Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, analyzing variances and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Financial Reporting:Review and publish timely monthly financial statements, ensuring transparency and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Month-end and Year-end Close Support:Support the month-end and year-end close process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Quality Control and Compliance:Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting, maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Internal Controls and Process Documentation:Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls, enhancing efficiency and mitigating risks.
- Inventory and Accounts Receivable System Implementation:Support in the implementation of inventory and Accounts Receivable (AR) system, optimizing processes and enhancing accuracy in inventory and receivables management.
- Bank Compliance and Treasury Management:Prepare monthly bank compliance reports and manage the treasury function of the business, supporting the CEO in cash management decisions.
- Additional Duties:Perform additional controller duties as necessary, contributing to the overall financial health and success of the organization.

Requirements and skills
- Industry Background: Proven working experience as a Financial Controller, demonstrating a track record of driving results and exceeding targets.
- Key Competencies: Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, coupled with extensive experience in creating financial statements and managing general ledger functions. Advanced degree in Accounting and CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Experience Level: 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience, with a focus on the month-end/year-end close process and ERP implementations. Excellent accounting software user and administration skills are essential for success in this role.
