Responsibilities:

  • Shipping and Logistics:Accurately prepare detailed shipping documents for international and domestic shipments of wholesale dairy products.Organize and schedule shipments with warehouses, trucking companies, and final customers.Coordinate pickup and delivery appointments, ensuring timely and efficient logistics operations.
  • Email Communication:Prioritize and promptly respond to emails from stakeholders, including warehouses, suppliers, and customers.Maintain effective communication channels to address inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Market Research:Analyze global dairy, grains, currency, and energy markets to inform decision-making processes. Utilize Microsoft Excel to update charts, graphs, and tables for various monthly and weekly USDA agricultural reports.
  • Customer Interaction: Generate leads for agricultural farmers and individuals turning 65 years and older enrolling in the Medicare health insurance program. Prepare personalized emails and quotes for dairy products and insurance for customers. Schedule meetings and phone calls with customers to discuss products and services.
  • Marketing Support: Prepare and execute postcard and email campaigns as well as newsletters to engage customers. Update social media accounts such as Facebook and Twitter with relevant and valuable information. Organize and manage ongoing marketing campaigns to promote products and services effectively.

Required Experience & Skills:


  • Desired Background and Education:Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field is preferred. Previous experience in administrative roles, logistics coordination, customer service, or marketing is advantageous.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for data analysis, document preparation, and report creation. Familiarity with Canva or similar tools for designing marketing materials. Experience in utilizing CRM systems for customer relationship management.Proficiency in cold calling and cold emailing techniques for lead generation.
  • Demonstrated Expertise: Proven ability to accurately complete detailed documents for international and domestic shipments. Experience in logistics coordination, including organizing and scheduling shipments with warehouses and trucking companies. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to promptly respond to emails and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Analytical skills to conduct market research and analyze global dairy, grains, currency, and energy markets. Experience in updating social media accounts with valuable information and organizing marketing campaigns.
  • Essential Skills and Abilities: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively in a fast-paced environment.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy in all documentation and communications.
